Diana McClarnon

Christian, wife, mother, and Nana.
I have been painting as long as I can remember. When I was little I used to get in trouble for painting on the walls. It would be two children later that I would understand why my mother didn’t appreciate my masterpieces. With my focus on portraiture I have studied with some great masters over my career as an artist. Jonnie Lilidahl, Daniel Greene, Nancy Honea, Carol Baxter Kirby, Marc Chatov, and more. I am a founding member of the Fine Art Society of middle GA.
I was a member of Atlanta Portrait Society where I served two years as the critique session planner. I am a member of the American Society of Portrait Painters, Fellowship of Christian Artists, Middle GA Art Association, Macon Arts Alliance, and currently a member of ArtDublin. I have been with the GA National fair as the Fine Art Superintendent for the last 18 years. I opened The Painted Door Art Gallery in Warner Robins 11 years ago where I paint and teach. I work in most mediums. I find that I enjoy working with oil and pastel the most. I have recently started a journey into Christian art. It’s been such a blessing to have been given the gift of art. I am so thankful. I pray that every painting touches someone’s heart.
